I don't think your classifications are the most practical for situations in which you need to deal with Zombies though.
I, personally, would find classifications based on behavior (e.g. Lurker, Roamer, Shambler, Runner, etc) more purposeful than based on origin, with the exception of Voodoo zombies, which tend to be more servants than Zombie Infection Vectors.

Excellent point. I've been reading through The Zombie Survival Guide (of course!) which covers how to cope with different types of zombies.
That said, it may be too narrow. I don't think it'd come in handy with House of Dead of Resident Evil problems.

I feel Coté is really just beginning his trek to master zombie lore. I'll have to wait until he makes some in his back yard before I can agree.
