Women should leave their eyebrows alone.

Each woman should do whatever the hell she likes with her own eyebrows. But I agree that some people like ridiculous things. I should generally leave my eyebrows alone, but that's because I see no need to mess with them.

Some cultures shave all the hair off their head while in mourning. This includes their eyebrows, and I respect their decision to remove their eyebrows.

Natural hair growth can be creepy. And yes, that includes eyebrows.

That said: every woman for herself.

Good looking women need maintenance .
Plucking eyebrows a bit to a more streamline sexy shape is good.
But it is gross to see women plucked their whole eyebrows to nothing, then just draw fake ones.

Yeah, that's pretty much where this claim stemmed from... Saw a woman whose brows were so plucked into a narrow arch that she had reinforced them with a pencil. People can do what they want to their bodies-- I'm not knocking that. I just think the ultrathin arch thing is excessive for my tastes.

Oh. I think natural eyebrows are nicer, but rach.myopenid.com makes a very good point about it being up to the individual to decide.

yet another "which sense of should" issue. IMO it's best if they leave their eyebrows alone, but of course they may do whatever they desire, and we must never force one thing or another.

Yeah, I just think women get told too much about how they should and shouldn't look for me to want to accept a claim that sounds like more instructions to call into someone else's notion of beauty.
