This shows an extremely poor understanding of biology.
Male of the species usually possesses and controls? Do you have any actual understanding of the animal world? In a very good sampling of species, the male has no purpose other than as a disposable sperm sack.
Tell your theory to the male praying mantis, black widow and that one fish which is dissolved into the mother.
....besides, a *lot* of men I know are totally pushed around by their ladies. The men have their jobs and their projects, which is where they chose to express competency and control. In the realms of the "emotional" "home" and "social" - since they believe those are not "manly" things - they let their wife / girlfriend control them.
Which basically reduces them to a disposable money sack.
It depends on the women. Some women do want to be dominated. Some want to dominate. And some want a relationship of equals. This is way too general.
I'm curious to hear Wendy's view on this, since she voted to agree.
Sure, some of them has a feeling to be taken by the man. As similar, some men like to be controlled by women. It's just a claim, not a universal truth. Just hoped to hear opinions :)
