To get a cred score, you must be given cred by someone who already has a score.

Oh, easy. I joined Jyte with a bunch of mostly inactive people on it who knew me and gave me cred. Then I quickly got a fairly large group of people I knew onto Jyte and gave them cred and they gave me cred, which gave us all a large chunk of cred, since I was already in the scored network. Vynce was part of that. Vynce and I, in particular, gained a bunch of cred very fast because we were both very active, and so we also gained cred from people we didn't know.
