I wish the Queen had OpenID because then she could come along and vote "yes" to this claim. She is said to believe in this story.
In 1992 the Queen became seriously concerned when a raven escaped the tower. It was not found for 2 weeks and in that time the Queen's Windsor home was burned down.
That year turned out to be her "annus horribilis" with the divorce announcements of many of her children.
