The owners of the PostScript intellectual property should sue the developers of the Portable Document Format

PDFs, and their promotion, turn a very powerful and well-understood technology (PS) and turn it into proprietary crap full of security holes and bloat. Oddly, it makes the documents less portable.
(yes, I am aware of the other irony here, as well)

Yes, Adobe Acrobat is crap ... but don't confuse Acrobat with PDF. It's easier to make a secure, usable PDF viewer than a secure, usable PostScript viewer.
