Hmm... I'd imagine that this would rather tend towards some Fourier series from hell.. Things go in cycles. Short of a true catastrophe, the essences of humanity will tends towards recentralizing us as people, hence Fourier. I just don't see Maslow's hierarchy of needs going away.

cultures doesn't get better.

Thus, the education that culture provides doesn't get better either.

squaresquare: 7 votes, one of them a disagree does not truth make. Thus your premise is faulty. Even if it wasn't, your conclusion does not immediately and necessarily follow. (For one thing, culture is not the only source of education)

"Your conclusion does not immediately and necessarily follow."

Conclusions rarely do; in fact, in the infinite gap between antecedent and consequent is a great multitude of counter-examples. No matter how good an argument can be, it's very rare that the conclusion follows "immediately" from the premise.

Also, it's supposed to be 'diamond square' but not all browsers (it seems) can render the diamond, for instance I don't think IE7 can do it (that's what I'm using now).

Your diamond appears to have four right angles, and four equal sides, which makes it also a square, if tilty. I will resume using your apparently preferred name 'diamond square'
