The "ignore" ability, to selectively ignore a personal list of Jyte users one chooses, obviates the need for Jyte to pre-emptively protect one from that user.
Perhaps it will if the system aggregated a bunch of ignore lists and then made Disrespectful Jerkface ignored by new users as well. But having each and every user discover who they need to avoid the hard way is not, I think, something that builds a welcoming community.

Okay, I'm less certain than initially on this claim.
And now I dearly wish for a feature meeting this claim :-)
