For an example unrelated to the inspiring comment: while I consider this checklist of objections to proposed spam solutions to be useful in some context (i.e. when the person making the proposal has not already thoughtfully considered the objections), in other contexts, it's just another way to say "spam can never be eradicated entirely, so we shouldn't even try partial solutions".
