If you're bored, you are not making good use of your time, chances are you are waiting to be stimulated with the least amount of effort possible until again boredom over comes you- because you are boring.

Oh and you are LAZY too.

There is always work needing to get done, chores to complete, books to be read, knowledge to be stealing, art to be creating.....

When a person can take the time to whine about their boredom, this is PROOF of how boring that person truly is.

Get up and go do something- think for yourself, motivate stimulate yourself instead of relying on and holding others responsible for your boring life.

because when you're boring- or say you're bored you're really not doing anything to counter act this and your mind is not open to new or different things thus enhancing one's perception of their being bored.

How unattractive to hear one speak of how bored they are, this is someone nobody cares to be around- weak simple minded spoiled poodles get bored. Strong open minded driven hard working people are way too busy to be bored. Face the mirror and say out loud the truth you know, and others already see "I am not bored, I am just boring,"

Put it this way- has anyone known of a genius, a prodigy or an extremely intelligent above average smart person use the phrase, "I'm Bored" - no I don't think so and this is true because in every reality boredom is just an excuse not an argument.

Boring people the bored people are the people who disagreed. So obvious. So ready to disagree but not ready to back it up? Or is it because what you have to say would bore the rest of us? Please come on and convince me why do you disagree? a complainer who lacks ideas and the ability to generate their own excitement is not someone who is boring? OK then what do you call it? Time waster, bitching and moaning, not good enough to keep you from getting bored because you are spoiled and things easily bore you? These are all WEAK lazy boring statements made to support boring people. When a person says "I'm Bored" you know you are sure to hear it again a few times in the same outing even if you make a suggestion on what they could be doing. Boring.

Certainly. I have known plenty of brilliant people (much-acclaimed in academic circles) that have said, at some point or other, that they are bored with the current situation they happen to be experiencing, whether it happens to be class, lectures, or, say, transit between two locations in heavy traffic.

I do, however, find your brutal assault on people that experience boredom incredibly entertaining. Clearly, as we all know, anyone that is not perpetually interested by something (even if such an interest happens to be narcissism) must be inherently lazy, stupid, whiny, and other negative connotations that, well, cannot actually be drawn from a statement of boredom.

Next thing you know, anyone that professes to be 'happy' MUST be a complete airhead, because they just can't seem to conceive of poor dying children in Africa!

Yes. For example, "I'm bored" of you.
