OpenID must do more with your personal characteristics. I think in this case of personal interests on the basis of tags. You need then at presenting for a new site, for example a community, not always again everything to fill in.

I think that portability of "preferences" (including tags and such) should be separate from portability of "identity" (eg OpenID).
