Information age, to me, simply means going for tangible objects to, well, information as the basis of economy. I love free and open source software, don't get me wrong. But right now, it's still a tiny portion of what's out there. Most of the music, books, magazines and research is still "locked up" behind patents, copyright (with harsh licences) and the likes.
