Microsoft is working on a Linux port of Microsoft Office.

I think you've got your eggs in the wrong basket. I'm pretty sure Microsoft would rather Linux die. Moreover, what self-respecting Linux user would use MS Office over OpenOffice.org?

I'm sure I heard something along these lines somewhere...
I doubt it would be very succesful, although business people who prefer Linux but need MS software might give it a go I s'pose.

The success of CrossoverOffice proves someone thinks it's a good idea...
