Personally, I thought that marriage was when the girl says to the guy, "Alright. We can have as much sex as you want, but you can't leave me when I get fat and pregnant, or fat and old." It's the exact same as it would be otherwise, except that they both have some sort of insurance for their "romantic" future.
I see that I've already remarked on this claim, but now that I see who has voted yes - some of which are people I found to be rational - I wonder if they votes yes as a joke or if they really believe that.
Define prostitution! There are (usually) economic transactions between the involved persons taking place, as well as (again, usually) acts of sexual nature being performed. What else is required for it to be prostitution?
What rot. Maybe when one party is under duress, it may seem a lot like prostitution. When both parties consent to share their lives together and declare that to their society, that's antithesis to prostitution.

WTF?
I'm with Raven ... huh? You're going to need a *lot* more justification/proof before I'd be willing to express an opinion of this one.
I thought most women get married so they don't have to have sex any more.
Raven said it.
your description contradicts your claim

Haroon...... what??
I thought Billy was just being cynical.
fmoo:
Hey man, what's with Haroon? Do you know me?
@ Ryan Henderson, you're in for a rude awakening.
This claim is moronic.
Yeah. I know.

"When all the expense and burden is on the man, as well as the responsibility to propose, we'll talk."
Isn't that already the case?
Yes, endolith, and someone already said that. I think the claimer (claimer? claimant?) meant to write the opposite thing in the description.
If that is true, then I'm voting yes. If that is deliberate and there is no error, then this makes no sense.
Excuse me ladies, I heard that something in this claim just won't die.
