I told everyone who I knew to be coming that I would provide wine and water and anything else they wanted they should bring themselves. Seemed to have worked out for most people.

It worked for me...probably a little bit too much.

I should step in here for a second. Pixie wasn't complaining that there wasn't FREE liquor.

More like... "Damn, why didn't I bring any liquor? I don't really like wine and/or beer."

If I had liquor I totally would have served it. However, I try not to buy it because I'll just drink it. No, really. Given the nature of the drinks I like (appletinis, vanilla vodka and diet coke) it's way to easy to drink half of bottle of something and not even notice until I'm barfing my guts up the next morning. So, for the record, I wasn't being stingy with my stash. I just don't have one.

Yeah yeah... I just don't like drinking that early in the day, and never when I drive.

I blame myself and CB for being in the wrong state. Ifn' you Portlanders would be considerate and all move down here, we'll gladly spring for the heavy booze at all jyte events.
