Jyte's JavaScript interface is broken for me.

By 6 D'Archangel on August 04, 2008

This has been going on for a bit. Unfortunately, this is no longer true, so this is actually a real pain in the ass.

Symptoms: No "preview" or "publish" buttons on comments, no "watch" or "trash" buttons in the claim listing, broken "ignore" and "view comment" button. Turning JS off (NoScript) fixes most of the broken functionality, but the "ignore" button seems not to work at all without JS.[1]

This change occurred sometime last week; there is a nonzero chance that Firefox 3.01 is somehow involved. Any other reports would be welcome.

Huh. Works fine with IE, but IE's so broken that it could just be a fluke.

Anything works in ie; it's a script lavatory.

I'm still having the no personal homepage problem, but that's an app thing to do with my account. I've mailed Rorek, but nothing's happened.

Vynce: No, I haven't yet done rigorous testing. Maybe when I get home.

Jyte is working as well as usual for me. That is to say, it's running quite slowly, but that's all.

Well, it's not FF 3.01. My XP install can see Jyte just fine, but my OSX install cannot. It also follows that it is not my account. I've also turned off all extensions and retested without changing the result. I'm stuck.

Well, and now it's mysteriously unbroken. Ah, how I love technology.
