To start using JyteBot, just add jytebot@gmail.com to your Jabber roster, then type help to see a list of available commands.
This was a pretty quick hack that I whipped up last night, so JyteBot may go down briefly every now and then while I work out the kinks. Nevertheless, I hope you'll find the service as useful as I do. Enjoy!

That's really cool.
Rad! Will you add it to the Jyte hacks wiki?

Sure!
oh, this scares me.
Sweet! Thank you!
It works great! I'm thrilled (& impressed) that you have created this tool.
Thanks! Glad to hear it.
It works! I'm using it through gtalk in my gmail. Thanks Ryan.
Hey, what client do you use? I'm considering downloading jabber just this feature.
I use Miranda, but if you're only going to use Jabber for the sake of JyteBot, it's probably easiest just to create a Gmail account (if you don't already have one) and use Google Talk.
Easy, I've already got a gmail account. Great, now I'm sure to get even less done.
Hmm, Ryan, any idea how many claims can I safely load onto jytebot?
It should be able to handle whatever you can throw at it, within reason. I wrote it assuming that it might have to deal with some heavy load. I'm keeping an eye on it, so if I notice it having trouble, I can make improvements as necessary.
The only thing I'm not sure about is whether Google will barf if JyteBot ends up sending and receiving lots of messages. I guess we'll find out.
That is so cool.
Very tidy.
Sweet.
I said that in a Napoleon Dynamite voice, but it's ok if you didn't notice that.
It seems down at the moment.
It hasn't been up in a long while.
Yeah, once Jyte got advanced search, JyteBot became a lot less necessary. Also, the Jabber library I used is apparently somewhat unstable, so the damn bot kept crashing every few hours.
