I think Open ID could end up being critical to Jyte's success. Never heard of this place until I got an Open ID.

What's "critical"?
Right now every site that supports OpenID is critical to the adoption rate of OpenID. Most users don't know what OpenID is much less care, because there are barely enough OpenID consumers out there to make it worth while.
Another vote for stating this the other way around
