Jyte should have an option to nickname a user, to help me to identify someone I know through name changes.

E.g. if I had nicknamed XISTH Information as "That cool Xithy guy", then I might see (after he changed his name):
Comestibles J Coolio (That cool Xithy guy) who hasn't voted says:
....
I support name changes. It's just that I expect that the computer should help me keep track of things if I ask it to. Why should I expend precious brainpower / memory memorizing the arbitrary string of characters that is an OpenID?

That would be a good feature (note, I suggest you add the tag "feature request"). The user profile keeps a record of names ever used (since they started doing that) to help with this problem, but I don't usually want to click to someone's profile. What you suggest would be a much more user friendly interface for day to day Jyting.
This is the best solution for the name changing problem I've seen yet.
