As in, the number of comments received on the ranked user's most discussed claim.

Yes. What it adds depends which "most discussed" ranking you mean. the current Discussed claims user ranking is the total comments on all that person's claims, which fails to note people who only wrote one or two claims but they got incredible numbers of comments. The Discussed claim list is each claim by the number of comments on it, but it's hard to skim that for the top 23 authors' names.
A lot of different rankings can be imagined ...
Especially if we do not bound our imagination to the integral ones only.
