Would you care to elaborate on the way in which jyte is notable?
It might be of interest to a significant number of the Wikipedia readers? This is my first notability dispute, so I'm trying to tread relatively lightly.

Okay, jyte is cool, and I certainly would like it to have it's very own Wikipedia article. My question was more general than that. In which ways do you feel that jyte is (stealing blatantly from wikitionary) worthy of notice, remarkable, memorable or distinguished.(end blatant theft)
I'm an addict, so I'd have to recuse myself. It'd be like asking a junkie if heroin were notable.
It's one of the first attempts at non-anonymous reputation aggregation online? It's one of the larger scale Ruby apps that I know of (or will be). It's growing rapidly, (but they shot that one down, as Wikipedia is not a crystal ball). It shares some of the strengths of other web 2.0 sites, many of which are notable. None of your three criteria are objectively measurable.
Oh, and I guess you don't vote in an AfD discussion; you participate in a consensus.
