Jesus is overrated.

If the stories are somewhat true, then he did have some good ideas. Also some bad ones, but certainly some good ones. But he tends to be overhyped. People often dislike what is overhyped.

I was sad when I saw Shrek, because while it is a good movie and funny, I had been lead to expect so much more from it. I'd certainly have appreciated it more if I had had fewer people telling me how wonderfully funny and awesome it was.

Jesus is a lot like Shrek.

Sadly, I fear it is partly because I may have a migraine coming on. It's weird... migraines are complicated neurological phenomena. One of the things they tend to do is make me sillier, more prone to humor. This is often lost when I am tossing and turning in agonizing and debilitating pain. But if the migraine isn't in full swing then it can show itself. I am hoping to fend off the migraine and prevent the horrible, debilitating pain. So, it may not get to that.

I do sometimes wonder how much chronic migraines shaped who I am. But there is no answer to that.

So. Maxalt. Take it thirty minutes ago. Lemme know if it works.

The problem is it's hard to be sure if it is an incoming migraine... I haven't had definite prodromes, which I sometimes get.

Had that problem with cafergut. Great drug, but I could never be sure if it worked or I had guessed wrong unless I had clear prodromes.
