Rorek: What I was trying to say is that even if I stipulate the existence of Jesus, I think it's a stretch to think he believed himself divine. That's the sort of thing your followers write on your graveboulder in order to give their claims to have seen the One True Way more credibility.

Really, D'A? Seems to me that several recent messiah figure cult leaders have claimed divinity, and I see no reason to put it past him, especially since he's quoted as saying so.
Anyhow, regardless of what you think of the (possibly) historical figure of Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus Christ is a character of the gospels who did claim to be the son of god, and god himself.
What a big head; no wonder they crucifibrillated him/it etc.
The crucifibrillator is for sale, by the way.
