I am hispanic, but I have dark skin, so I am almost always mistaken to be african-american

I have at least 5 ethnicities eith which people can hit the mark, but they usually find something obscure and incorrect to go with.
This one time, someone assumed that I was a 100 meter dash, when I'm clearly closer to a steeplechase.
Honestly, some people.
I keep telling them it's the 100 meter dash, but they insist on running 300 meters more!
