If you look at geopolitics, you will see that the most violent, patriarcal societies on earth today are in the Islam lands of the world. Where muslims gain influence, the Christian, and humanitarian element is threatened. Look at southeast Asia, Indonesia, the Phillippines for examples of how muslims have brutally agonized peace loving folks. Let history speak, not my opinions.

We're all as bad as one another.Or good for that matter.
History? I thought you wanted us to just look at current events. If we look at history then we find that during the Middle Ages the Christians were horribly oppressive to other beliefs, but the Islamic lands were lands of religious tolerance, science, mathematics, trade, and invention. That's a large part of where civilization lived during that time period. You want to look at India, China, and the Middle East, because Europe was a mess. Of course, there may have been fascinating things happening in the Americas, but less is known about that, and I don't even know much about what is known, so I'll exclude them.
Traditionally, Islam is a religion of tolerance, peace, and acceptance. Christianity had the Crusades, the Children's Crusades, and the Inquisition.
History does not back up your statements.
Yes, right now some Muslims are quite violent. Every single religion that has gained power has abused it. At least, everyone I've managed to check. I keep looking for a religion that is so truly good, pure, and devoted to peace that it has managed to hold power and not corrupt. But even Buddhism failed. Judaism wrote its own failures into the Bible. Christianity spread blood all across history. Islam's are obvious at the moment. Find me a religion that is stronger than human nature, and then we can consider that maybe it's better than other religions.
All you can say about Christianity is that it's better than the religions that had regular human sacrifice. You don't find graves of baby skeletons in honor of Christianity... at least, not much.
