It really bugs the crap out of me that they didn't do more sooner, because even with Microsoft's clout it will take FOREVER for IE(whatever) to reach full market penetration. Look, it's still at only 20%! That's like Firefox
I don't really care much about who wins the browser wars or opensource blah blah blah, I just want to be able to write CSS, Javascript and XHTML without worries, and Internet Explorer has been stifling the whole internet in that respect for YEARS
I totally agree, Billy. There are some encouraging signs recently. Though again I agree that as long as there are Explorer 6 users out there we still have a huge problem. And even when they've all been usurped by Explorer 7, we'll still not be able to write CSS 2.1 in the way we should. CRAP.
