I'm tired of things being "best thing since sliced bread"

Especially as sliced bread isn't that great.

It's all relative. Sliced bread was considered a major advnance in the food industry that did change how households consumed and used the product.

So it's just a point of reference. In another 50 years we might be saying "That's the best thing since the Internet".

I think there have been better things since sliced bread though.
