I don't think Ben will. I have sufficiently to generally not have people bother me about my use except when I forget to be careful and slip up. But it's actually more complicated than affect is a verb and effect is a noun, and I usually don't bother beyond that basic level. On a side note, affect can also be a noun, as in the patient has flat affect.

You can do eet.
effect is a noun
affect is a verb
An astonishing number of people don't know this.
It's easier for people to remember with context. The special effects in that movie were awful. Has this comment affected anyone yet.
? oops
Of course, effect is also a verb, e.g. to effect a change.
I am affected.
yes, you have an affectation.
Can anyone be effected?
The drug effected bizarre changes in Rael's take on the world.

And I don't know how to vote, since i currently know the difference.
I'll make another claim w/r/t the need for buttons beyond agree and disagree. I'm thinking the third button needs to be "I'm a smarmy bastard."
English sucks no more than any other language. It's the morons who refuse to maintain its standards.
I've effected the affections of those whose effects have affectations.
