You can take it away by removing all the tags in the cred text box...

If their is no negative cred, then people will use positive cred in negative ways. Maybe only give people powers to moderate claims with tags matching their cred? Then Emily's becredded enemies would only be able to alter claims tagged with 'asshole'.
