i think "watched" is good for this purpose, for claims. comments less so, obviously.
It seems like you'd also like for the profile page to include a "claims by them i've watched" tab. lacking that, though, going to "thir claims, "More..." link, and then munging the URL to remove page=2 and add watched=on will get the job done. eventually.
Well, no, that doesn't actually give me what I want. The driving use for this, in my eyes, is to *quickly* scan over things people have said before I give them cred. Since this could be either comments or claims, your solution is horribly time consuming and clunky.
I might forget something asinine and horrific that somebody once said. I rarely forgive, and I hate it when I forget.
which brings to mind a non-boolean tagging system, in which tags become more visile the more people assign them to a particular claim. but that gets to be like work real quick

Good idea!
great idea. please tag "jyte, user interface, feature request, claim, comment, mark" and remove (or explain) the tag "tag".

Personal tagging (tagging a claim with tags only you can see, no one else) would solve this, and many other requests, nicely.
