If America's Space Prize is won by 2010, then the space tourism industry will definitely be on course for lunar landings in the next few decades.
yeah, i jsut don't expect it to be something i can afford while i'm still young enough to survive it.

Let's see, SpaceShipOne Flight 15P - first privately funded human spaceflight - occured in 2004. America's Space Prize has a deadline of 2010 for privately funded orbital human spaceflight, and the rest of the world is still waiting on Peter Diamandis for an orbital X Prize.
Seriously, tourists will be on the Moon in the next 50 years.
but 50 years from now i'll be lucky to be able to survive 1G, let alone 3.
I'm ready to go, just as soon as NASA or the ESA (ha!) comes knocking.
