Morgan, I had the same idea about offering other links on your openID page besides the delegation one, problem is not everyone is delegating, and some people (most people) are using the OpenID directly from the IDP.
If this were the accepted method as opposed to the "Attribute Exchange Draft" which I think won't take off, then you'd see all sorts of link hosts similar to tinyid.us that function as a delegator and as a meta link host.
Yes yes yes i know everyone wants to make everything decentalized but the problem with that in this case is that if i have three openid accounts and each IdP makes me create a foaf file on each of thier accounts i might as well keep doing it all on each site i join. a central foaf file location with a url added to a Idp openid's attribute would stop the insanity of making me create a new foaf file for each IdP I belong to.
They are trying so solve the single sign on problem by backing up the duplacation of effort back to each of the IdP I use instead of at each new website i wish to join. Sure there might be some time savings but why not make it all in one shot. A central wwff.org idea makes sense if you think about it.
at a central WWFF.org the web sites interface could help me add, change, or delete any line in my foaf file on the screen after the login screen. It could add XFN statements to my directory even. one central place to do foaf, picture/avatar and XFN statements, they could even add an microid to each directory so I could claim my wwff.org directory on claimid.com
The website could registered to a non profit so the ownership problem would not exist.
Maybe the solution is for claimid to add a foaf file that can be reference in each of my IdP openid's attribute file. They already have my picture, my online profiles in XFN statements and a start of my contact list in xfn statements. They also have a Hcard for each user they could really mop up if they would just add a foaf file interface and foaf publication.
claimid already has a verifed list of my online profile all they would have todo is scan each of them for xfn statements and then make a interface page which would allow me to decided which of them i want to publish. this would also let me remove duplacte xfn statement from multiple profiles.
If they would also add email contacts as well as openid contacts the contact page would become more complete and useful.

To point to things like foaf file, preferred avatar stats, etc.
