I see Leo more as the 'everyman' asking questions of the expert, at least in Security Now, Windows Weekly, FLOSS Whenever, (gah - where's the MP4 player) net@nite and This Week in Law. I suspect he knows a lot more than he lets on.
Yeah... I liked Security Now, FLOSS Weekly, and the Daily GizWiz. That said whenever he starts talking about something I know about without one of the experts around he tends to get things only like 75% right.
I think he does a bit of post production, or has a friend to do it for him. I guess he'd edit out any long pauses.
@DeWe, you have a lot of listening to do to catch up to present day on Leo's netcasts. I have a hard enough time with the weekly shows, I don't even bother with Daily Gizwiz. :)
I usually listen to the shows on my MP4 player in the car. That's great with shows like BSDTalk (Will Backman) which are only ten minutes long, but with Security Now you need an hour's commute to fit a whole one in. I don't spend enough time in the car.

One thing's for certain - he loves netcasting.

I couldn't work out whether he was pausing a lot or it was the download hiccing when I had a listen recently, after Ralph pointed me to him.

Too much for me: I like to read in the travel downtime; prefering to bike rather than tube mostly.
Leo would tell you to get some audiobooks in your MP{3|4} player.
