My uncle killed himself about... *looks at calendar* 18 years ago, when I was still a wee one. When they read his diary, it turned out he was gay, living a double life between his wife in Kansas and his boyfriend in Colorado, and didn't think anyone else in the family would accept him.
Oh, how little he knew... let's just say I'm far from the only fruit on the queerberry bush in my family.

I keep trying to write a comment but I can't seem to finish any of the ones I've started. That's rough and gets to me on a couple of levels.
It's never the people you think will be the ones, that's for sure... or at least it usually isn't.
yes our family seem to have history of suicide. An uncle and his father, and then a cousin of mine.
It wasn't very nice. But those things happen and theres nothing you can do about it.
