Been there⦠I use every tool in my armory. If they stop jyting, or wise up (which has happened on occasion believe it or not) I'll stop ignoring them.
I've already got people on the list, but if you're talking about who I think you're talking about then they won't make it to the ignore list any time soon. She's too fun to ridicule. Her and that cute Abu Ghraib / Vulcan pose. Though it may wear off quicker than I expect.
I've never ignored a jyte user, and I intend to try to avoid it. I just don't find it aesthetic. Besides, people who make a lot of noise & worthless claims -- especially people who make, say, 50 claims before they vote on, say, 5, like some unique snowflakes i could mention -- tend to get the wetware ignore from me pretty quickly. But the wetware is always learning and adjusting as they improve, and some of them turn themselves around and end up becoming people I actively look forward to. Of course, some don't -- but i've never found them to be worth ignoring after their first week.

I've done it before, I'll do it again. Quotes and philosophy popped my ignore cherry.
Yeah, I've heard about that person...before my time, I think. I'm not an 'ignore virgin' anymore. Really living on the edge, aren't I?
I don't like using the ignore feature if I don't have to. Usually people who go too far mysteriously disappear

Usually people who go too far mysteriously disappearI think Cobra Baghdad sends a squad round to talk to them.
I thought about it a couple of times today.
