Chickens are pretty neat.
We had chickens at a house I used to live in. They were named "Breakfast", "Lunch", and "Dinner". Lunch and Dinner laid blue eggs. The fresh eggs were pretty sweet. I was occasionally kept from falling back asleep in the early morning because of the clucking, though.
Just get some chickens already. You won't regret it.
