I have, previous to this claim, thought about the direct (i.e., not as a result of less usage of other energy sources) effects that renewable power sources may have upon the climate.
A dysphemism to attract any of the Tim Blair, etc. readers on this site. I'd like to get votes from global warming sceptics as well as global warming believers.
I haven't seen any conclusive evidence. In fact, I have been presented with evidence to the contrary (iceberg growth tracking), but for the most part, I don't really care.
