I don't mean to sound judegmental, but humans and alcohol have had a very long relationship. As Sethrates would say, even the ancient greeks had alcohol. I would go as far as saying it's normal to drink alcohol. We have, after all, evolved to have enzymes to digest it.
I just question whether you can "know" that you don't miss what you've never had.
