At once or accumulated over time? I've never cohabitated with three SOs at the same time, unless they're not all required to be my SOs... they were SOs of someone...

I figured over time was a given, but yeah, over time.

Then this gets tricky... does only living together for summers between college count? What about if I lived with the person when he wasn't my SO but we got together when we weren't living together?

3 is right at my border of weirdness for what to count.

I interpreted the count to be the number of people you have been living with and sleeping with at the same time.

That still doesn't answer for very short term things. Does it count if it's just a summer? And I think where you count your permanent residence is a bad metric, because for four years my "permanent residence" was a place I saw very rarely and ended up never living in again.

Cohabiting is cohabiting even if it's just for a summer. The cohabitation and the relationship need not end simultaneously, I don't think. But I probably wouldn't count staying with your SO for a couple weeks while you find a new place.

Cohabitating is living/sleeping with someone (SO = "significant other") without being married to them.
