Though, many of our servers use SSL, and Chatopus cannot background an SSL connection :(.
I would love this, because I despise how mobile phone companies charge more for SMS even though it uses *much* less bandwidth and resources than the phone call to say the same thing.
What are the best carriers/plans/phones for using jabber (and web/email, etc.) I just have a very basic phone service plan, but am considering upgrading.
My phone is pretty limited, but if my phone could support it, I would certainly be using it.
