I voted yes not because I think we'll "run out" in my life time, but because once we hit "peak production" we're just as screwed as if we had "run out" . Our (USA) economy is so heavily Dependant on cheap energy that I hope our leaders start investing in AE soon. The question is whether conquering all these foreign governmenta is worth the expenditure. Wouldn't placing a solar panel on every roof prove more long-term
