I would have liked this claim better had it read "I believe in a god."
Because, to be fair, not everybody refers to their diety as "god"
I'd like a third alternative. I obey the edicts of G-d. This doesn't mean that I believe such a being exists.

To address the claim, then, I decidedly do not believe in the god of Abraham, whom I assume you are attempting to designate with the proper noun "God". The god of Abraham would be a mass-murdering fuckhead if he existed.
