To be precise, carefree joy. Fun and joy uncontaminated with worries. Childlike fun. Red is the color of red lifesavers, red balloons, and other such things. Red is also my favorite flavorcolor. (You know what a flavorcolor is, it's when you eat something and you go, ahhh this tastes red. Or hmmm this tastes purple. Personally, I generally don't like the purple flavorcolor, but red is quite good. Even while foods whose tastes are best described by their color are a tad scary, but I bet most of you know exactly what red tastes like and have eaten a fair number of red things. (and don't tell me it tastes like cherry, I've eaten cherries!)).

Yeah, I think I can go for this one...mainly because of the 'flavorcolor' comment. I think red TASTES joyful and fun
Red is also joy-and-fun for me, but not child-joy. Deep red. Red and black. Coffee-and-art-and-music-and-conversation. Bohemian-joy.
