United Nations report (story on CNN.com) says that human activity is almost certainly causing the change in our weather patterns. We need to at the very least accept that the world is the most important natural ecosystem - as with all ecosystems, putting any kind of garbage into it is most obviously going to harm the system. Just as if we put garbage and toxins into our own bodies there will be illness, it follows that the same is true of the world.

Sorry to be pedantic, but the BBC and Channel 4 are completely separate entities.

Also, while I agree with the sentiments in the description, I'm not in favour of proof-by-analogy - that last sentence isn't really as logical as it pretends.
