Hillary Clinton doesn't need to drop out of the race. I agree that it would be better for her party if she bowed out gracefully and let Obama concentrate on McCain, but she doesn't have to do so.

No, because the more Clinton supporters feel that people tried to pressure Clinton to leave, the harder it will be for Obama to get the votes of Clinton supporters.
Which is why I find claims like this and comments like this confusing. If you support Obama, it's bad for him. And if you don't, why do you care?
