Hillary Clinton’s campaign for the Democratic Presidential nomination is toast.

Or, to mix culinary metaphors, stick a fork in her, she's done.

She loaned an additional 6.4 million to her campaign but, relative to Obama, still had a net deficit of about 15 delegates in the primaries on Tuesday (the day before this claim). Her campaign's financial resources are severely strained, whereas Obama still has a massive reservoir of donors who haven't donated anywhere near their limit.

He also substantially padded his popular vote lead yesterday.

Prominent commentator Tim Russert has baldly* stated that We now know who the Democratic nominee is gonna be, and no one’s gonna dispute it [...]".

* even though Russert does appear to be hair-ful
