It is possible that web apps will be the way we run in the future when the internet is really fast and almost never goes down, but web office applications just aren't good enough with the resources currently available. This includes the frameworks they're written on.
Microsoft Office is a lot easier to use then a web copy.
And that's really saying something.
* Doesn't have Clipart.
* Doesn't have WordArt.
* Doesn't have that little nice effects avaiable in Microsoft Office 2007.
* Doesn't have the presentation feature in fullscreen.

Not yet. Web Apps are not that widely used to compare Google Apps with MS office
