Most people don't understand what "God" means or haven't thought about the question "Who is God?"
If God didn't exist why would I be typing this message?
good point. Most, but I's say all, don't understand your notion of the entity which is called "God" because there could be uniform unanimous definition of the phenomena. Everyone has his/her own feeling, fantasy or what ever. Simply because we lack any empirical evidence.
Well, it actually explanes why these more than ~4000 various deities and gods.
