No Shoes Day is an important part of my personal spirituality, traditionally celebrated by refusing to wear shoes for a 24 hour period. I'll get to taking out the trash tomorrow.

But as I was told growing up, your religious holiday doesn't give you a right to not meet your obligations whenever it is possible to make them not conflict. As such, you can take out the trash while not wearing shoes.
You know, it's amazing how often this holiday comes around the time it's his turn to take out the trash...
