Giving and receiving of cred should be more visible

By 4 kybernetikos on April 11, 2007

When my nonjyte friends first log in, following a link from my blog to give me cred, they have difficulty knowing if they've actually managed or not. Perhaps a nice big message saying "You have given X 'supadoopa' cred" would be good.

Also, I'd like to know when someone gives me cred, what type, and what the referer page was. Perhaps when I go to my 'you' page, it could have a recent cred section. Maybe even make it an rss feed.

Especially if it says:
You have given X supadoopa cred!

No matter what cred you give.

On a related point, it's not totally obvious to a first time jyter why the "Best Qualities" aren't immediately updated to include the cred they've just given. Maybe we could have a link at the bottom of the "Best Qualities" panel to the cred about page.

When people do something they like to be able to see its effect.
